Amvic Insulated Concrete Forms Wall Sytem
Old construction technologies are being replaced with newer and better methods, and insulated concrete is the solution to many of the drawbacks of traditional construction. It is the basis of A Premium Structure.

Amvic
is the industry leader in the manufacture of insulated concrete forms (ICFs). Amvic forms come in a variety of shapes, which makes it possible to create floor plans of virtually any configuration. The forms are hollow, lightweight, “stay in place” forms made of two panels of expanded polystyrene (EPS) that are connected by polypropylene webs.

To make walls, the forms are stacked together, temporarily braced, then filled with concrete which creates a stable, durable and sustainable structure. An IFC wall provides structural strength, insulation, vapor barrier, sound barrier, and surface for attaching drywall and siding, all in one step.

ICF walls create a continuous envelope from the footings to the rafters, with no breaks except for door and window openings. Even corners are continuous. There is literally no opportunity for air, dust or pests to enter. An ICF wall functions at an R-50 rating, compared to R-19 or less for a traditional stud wall. Strength is unmatched; wind rating is 200 mph.

Amvic
forms are the most rigid on the market. Their forms use more raw material than any other, their webs are closer together, and they use a unique interlocking system for strength. Amvic forms are made using steam and cold water, which means no CFCs, HCFCs, formaldehyde or chemicals of any kind are used in their manufacture. The webbing is made of recycled polypropylene.
